Education & Health Care Plans (EHCP)

An Education & Health Care Plan (EHCP) is a legal document for children and young people aged up to 25 years who need more support than is available through provision that is available. It describes their special educational needs and the support required to help them achieve their agreed outcomes.

I have extensive experience contributing to EHCPs, identifying speech, language and communication needs/differences, interpreting assessment findings and providing evidence-based recommendations.

The Government’s current SEND Code of Practice is still the 0-25 framework for England.
